Who do you work with?: Veterans/ Ex service people
Organisation description: Salford Veterans Association has been formed to provide ex-servicemen and women of all ages who are resident in Salford an opportunity to socialise, get information on events that involve the veterans community and encourage the various veterans groups that exist in Salford and the surrounding area to work together to keep each of the groups viable. It will liaise with Salford City Council with regards to organised local authority events to try and increase awareness among the veteran community of said events and encourage greater participation.
