Organisation description: THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN THE UNITED KINGDOM: (1) TO RELIEVE THOSE IN NEED BY REASON OF BEING A REFUGEE, ASYLUM SEEKER, MIGRANT OR A DEPENDENT OF SUCH, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY HELPING THEM ADAPT TO THEIR COMMUNITY, PROVIDING A DROP-IN SERVICE PROVIDING ADVICE, ADVOCACY, PRACTICAL ASSISTANCE AND SIGNPOSTING/LIAISING WITH OTHER ORGANISATIONS THAT CAN ACHIEVE THESE AIMS (2) TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES, WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.
