Who do you work with?: Children (aged 12 - 15), Young people (aged 16-19)
Organisation description: We are a group of young people (11-21) in Salford who love pop culture. The group started during Covid-19 lockdown with the support of our youth worker Martyn, as a way of young people discussing and celebrating the things they love. Many of us spend a large amount of our free time at home in our rooms, gaming, reading books, manga and comics, watching anime, tv and films, or creating our own art work using different media or lego!
We have weekly sessions online (Teams) to meet and discuss our current interests, anything that is happening at the time, and give each other recommendations. During holiday periods we come together for afternoons of game challenges, creative projects, and chatting about our interests.
We are always looking for new members, and are keen for all of Salford's nerds and otaku to come together and share their interests, the more the merrier!
