Organisation description: The Spearhead Foundation is a organisation which tackles transitional issues within the veteran community. It does this through various activities from motorsport, shooting sports, coffee club and pizza nights. It is the only organisation in the North of England which has activities based on those who fought in Iraq and Afghanistan. The foundation also support emergency service workers and those who are socially subscribed to engage with other like minded people. We also run a humanitarian team which has been operational through COVID, the Afghanistan withdrawal and Ukraine/Russia war where it evacuated over 800 people from eastern frontline towns. The Spearhead Foundation was formed by means of a WhatsApp group in 2018 to help tackle younger veterans who don't engage it then became project within another organisation before needing to set up on its own due to the growth within it. To date, The Spearhead Foundation has worked with just over 4000 service personnel and operates solely from volunteers who have served or are serving.
