Organisation description: The Irlam & Cadishead Volunteer Drivers Scheme was established by Macmillan Cancer Services, Salford City Council Health Improvement Service and Salford Royal Hospital Foundation Trust (SRFT) working in partnership to establish a service which would transport cancer patients from Irlam and Cadishead to hospital appointments at SRFT, Christie Hospital Manchester, Manchester Royal Infirmary, Wythenshawe hospital and other treatments centres in Greater Manchester.
