Organisation description: Tackling Minds is a community-driven organisation dedicated to supporting individuals in mental health recovery through the therapeutic benefits of fishing. Tackling Minds offers structured fishing sessions designed to improve mental wellbeing, build confidence, and promote a sense of community among participants. We work with individuals facing a broad range of challenges, including but not limited to mental health issues, addiction, disability, homelessness, and long-term illness., using fishing as a tool for healing and personal growth. Our programs also include coaching for young people to promote mental health resilience from an early age.
