Organisation description: At Walkden in Bloom, we care deeply about both the environment and the health of our community. Our mission goes beyond planting flowers and maintaining green spaces, we aim to inspire healthier, more connected lives. We work closely with local residents to promote active lifestyles through a range of community-led projects. A special focus of ours is supporting local residents and those who are socially isolated, encouraging them to step out, take part, and feel part of something meaningful. We also work with schools to encourage children and young people to love and look after the area they live in.
By bringing people together and caring for our shared spaces, Walkden in Bloom is building a greener, healthier Walkden—where everyone can breathe healthy and live healthy.
