Organisation description: St Luke’s Arts and Drama Society is a community-based performing arts group located in Salford. We are dedicated to providing high-quality, accessible theatre performances for the local community, with a particular focus on affordability in an area facing high levels of deprivation.

Our society welcomes people of all ages and abilities to become members, offering a friendly, inclusive environment where individuals can build confidence, develop new skills, and form lasting friendships. Through training in singing, acting, and dancing, we nurture talent and promote personal growth, while also contributing to the cultural life of the city.

We believe that the arts should be available to everyone, regardless of background or income. By keeping ticket prices low and fostering a supportive atmosphere, we ensure that both audiences and participants feel valued and inspired. Our work helps to reduce social isolation, promote wellbeing, and create a strong sense of community through shared creative experiences.
