Organisation description: My Shabbos Family is an organisation set up to support and empower children with disabilities and their families, primarily from the areas of the London Boroughs of Hackney and Haringey, Gateshead, Tyne and Wear and Greater Manchester. We are a small charity doing very important work at a grassroots level. This charity operates across parts of the UK. Our organisation was originally established in London, which is why our registered contact address is based there. Since then, we have expanded our services into Manchester, where our activities now take place. The London base remains our formal registered address, while Manchester is where we deliver our activities. Both locations work closely together to ensure continuity of services.
The charity aims to provide social interactions to children with disabilities whilst providing respite to their families. My Shabbos Family offers many activities for these special children, including Buddy Programmes, Weekend and Holiday Clubs and Saturday afternoon group meals and events.
My Shabbos Family works with 40+ Children and together with 70+ Volunteers, we have offered 250+ Meals and provided 400+ Hours of Care.
