Organisation description: Motherhood & Milk
Motherhood & Milk is a non-profit community group that serves mothers across Greater Manchester and Salford. We have recently established Salford as the main location for our community events and gatherings.
We provide a safe and inclusive space for mothers to share personal experiences, connect with others, and build friendships through the different stages of motherhood. Our monthly meet-ups, called breastfeeding circles, offer a relaxed and welcoming environment for mothers to come together, while our 24/7 online WhatsApp group helps reduce isolation and promote wellbeing.
Although we are not a formal peer support or advisory service, we offer experience-based support and signpost members to trusted professional resources for postnatal care, lactation support, and maternal wellbeing. Motherhood & Milk welcomes all mothers, regardless of background, identity, or circumstance, with the aim of fostering connection, confidence, and community through shared experience.
