Organisation description: We provide child-centred, individualised, trusted-adult support to improve children and young people’s wellbeing and engagement with school and learning. We can deliver our work in schools, in the home or in the community, or be based in your settings. We particularly work with those who are looked-after or in touch with a social worker, those with SEND, those who are struggling with confidence and self-esteem, or are at risk of exclusion or criminal exploitation, or are experiencing emotionally-based school non-attendance. Our support lasts for as long as the child or young person needs it – from 10 weeks to 3 years – and we also provide group interventions, including our unique Teens and Toddlers programme where teenagers mentor a toddler in a local nursery and also take part in experiential classroom sessions where they work towards an NCFE qualification. Our Power2 Progress intervention supports year 6s through that all-important move to secondary school.
