Organisation description: Vela Community Football CIC is a community-focused organisation dedicated to making football accessible, enjoyable and inclusive for every child. We provide high-quality coaching in a safe, supportive environment where children of all abilities can develop their physical, social and emotional skills through football.
Our services include weekly football development sessions at STAR Academy in Little Hulton, school holiday camps at Ellenbrook Primary School in Ellenbrook, after-school clubs in local primary schools in Salford, Early Years football coaching in loclal nurseries, SEN-focused coaching for children with additional needs, and football-themed birthday parties.
We work closely with families, schools and nurseries to encourage healthy lifestyles, build confidence, improve fundamental movement skills, promote teamwork and support children's overall wellbeing. Our mission is to remove barriers to participation by ensuring every child has the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of sport, regardless of their ability, background or circumstances. Our Vision is simple: Football for every child. Opportunity for every family. A stronger, healthier community.
