Organisation description: The Entrepreneurs Moment is a Salford-based community enterprise and media initiative created to inspire, empower and connect aspiring entrepreneurs, small business owners, creatives and members of the local community.
We provide a platform where people can share their entrepreneurial journeys, learn from the experiences of others, gain practical business knowledge and build the confidence to develop their own ideas. Through radio, interviews, digital media, community engagement, workshops and networking activities, we aim to make entrepreneurship more accessible to people who may not normally have access to business networks, mentors or promotional opportunities.
A key part of our work is supporting small and emerging businesses by giving them greater visibility and a space to tell the story behind what they do. We also aim to connect individuals with relevant business support, funding opportunities, mentoring and local organisations that can help them progress.
The Entrepreneurs Moment has a strong focus on inclusion and representation. We want to reach women, young people, parents, culturally diverse communities, career changers and individuals who may have skills, talents or business ideas but lack the confidence, information or connections to take the next step.
Our long-term aim is to develop The Entrepreneurs Moment into a recognised community enterprise hub within Salford, combining media, entrepreneurship education, mentoring, networking and community events.
Ultimately, our purpose is to help people move from ideas to action, isolation to connection, and limited visibility to greater opportunity, while celebrating the talent, diversity and entrepreneurial potential within the Salford community.
