Beesley Kurlers

Who do you work with?: Older people
Organisation description: We are a group of pensioners who meet each week at Beesley green community centre to play indoor kurling .We are members of a league and meet with other Kurling group regularly. We were started by Salford Health Improvement Team to promote health and exercise and well-being.Our group meetings get elderly people out of their homes to meet up ,chat and have some exercise.Members say how much better they feel for coming to our club.
Other support description: We need financial support to enable us to take our group of 30 pensioners on social outings to Salford cultural areas and activities
