If so Ashley Chapman, the fund's Grant Development Worker is running two drop in days on Thursday 1st February and Wednesday 7th February. Gardening is great for the environment and wildlife, it is great for our physical health too but did you know that it is also great for our wellbeing and mental health? Being out in nature and gardening helps us to feel less stressed as well as reducing anxiety and depression. The Grow Well fund is looking to help increase and develop growing projects across Salford in order to help increase the number of people engaging with and benefitting from green and growing projects as well as positively improving Salford's green spaces. 

Grants of up to £2000 are available to deliver projects from April 2024 until March 2025. 

This fund is open to:

  • Voluntary, community or social enterprise (VCSE) sector organisations.
  • All organisations must be a pre-existing member of Salford CVS. To apply for membership please visit: www.salfordcvs.co.uk/membership-0
  • Organisations must be fully up to date with grant reporting to Salford CVS 
  • Based in Salford or have a strong track record of delivery in Salford 
  • Organisations with a turnover of less than £150,000 
  • Organisations with 2 signatories on the bank account who are note related. 
  •  

Grant deadline: Please submit your applications by 12 noon Monday 19th February 2024.
