What happens next?
The nominations for the Heart of Salford Awards close on Friday 13th October. Our panel of judges will then shortlist four volunteers/volunteering teams under each category. If you are shortlisted we will be in touch in November. Shortlisted groups will be required to make a short 1minute film of their work - based on the questions in the application..
Your film
This short film will be shown on the evening to help inform people of your brilliant work and influence who they vote for to win the category. We don't want slick films and it is the content of the film that is important. You can either make the films yourself and we will send you guidance/questions or we will make it for you. This will just involve a 5-10minute chat via zoom about your nomination - asking the same questions on the form - and then adding in any photos or footage you already have. If you don't want your face to be on the film we can add images instead and just use your description.
