Caribbean & African Health Network (CAHN), in partnership with Greater Manchester Combined Authority and the Greater Manchester Race Equality Panel, is inviting applications for small community micro-grants of up to £500 to support Black History Month 2026 activity across Greater Manchester.
Community groups and grassroots organisations across Greater Manchester can apply for up to £500 to support local Black History Month activities, including education, culture, entertainment, heritage, storytelling, wellbeing and community dialogue.
The programme is particularly aimed at smaller, Black-led grassroots organisations, informal groups, cultural and creative groups, youth initiatives and other community-led groups.
Funding can support both new and already planned activity taking place during Black History Month 2026.
