With just a few weeks to go, there’s still time to sign up for the second edition of the Stroll for Salford!
Taking place on Saturday 19th September, the event will see participants take on a six-mile walk across the city as part of Salford’s Centenary Year celebrations, while raising vital funds to support the work of Salford City FC Foundation.
Starting from Salford Civic Centre in Swinton at 10am, the route will take in some of the city’s landmarks before finishing at the AIG Stadium, home of Salford City FC.
We’d love for our partners, colleagues and supporters to get involved, whether that’s by taking part yourself, entering a team of colleagues, or sharing the opportunity across your organisation.
Everyone who signs up will receive:
- A Stroll for Salford T-shirt
- A commemorative finisher’s medal
- A complimentary ticket to Salford City FC’s home fixture against Swindon Town following the walk
Participants are asked to commit to raising a minimum of £100, with all funds supporting Salford City FC Foundation’s work to empower, educate and improve lives across our communities through sport, health and wellbeing, education and community engagement.
