Simply Sewing Boothstown

Organisation description: Simply Sewing Boothstown’’ Sewing for beginners is a newly established group. Originally supported by the health improvement service. Due to the popularity of the classes a decision was made to continue to offer the sessions long-term. This group is run by volunteers. It has been constituted have a bank account. We are the ‘’Simply Sewing Boothstown’’ group whom meet every Tuesday once a week for two hours at the Boothstown Village Hall. The group welcomes everyone and mind well for all abilities. Our aim is to provide a safe environment for members of the community to come together to learn new skills, meet new friends, improve connectivity and reduce social isolation. Opportunities are provided to support local charities such as sew shopping bags and other items.
