Organisation description: BC Community is a new organisation set up to expanding Provision for the differently abled young women in the Orthodox Jewish Community - We aim to set up a Social, Enterprise and assisted living in order to transform the potential of our students into success through education and training, teaching independent life skills and providing employability and enterprise opportunities in a culturally appropriate environment.
We work with Bnos Chayil Post 16 is the 16-25 College/Seminary division of Aim Habonim special school. It was established in response to a need in the Orthodox Jewish Community for training and learning for students having left formal education, with nowhere else to go. Having started in 2016 it has grown by over 300%, recently having moved to new premises.
The new organisation of BC Community is the natural continuation of this college to expand the services to the wider community and offer recreational and employability opportunities to the whole SEN Community.
