Trafford Rape Crisis

Categories of Work: Counselling and therapy services, Domestic abuse and/or sexual abuse, Sexual health, Volunteering
Who do you work with?: Women
Organisation description: We are a feminist group which provides a service in Trafford & the other nine Greater Manchester authorities, run by women for women who have experienced rape, sexual abuse or any other form of unwanted sex, no matter when or where. We listen, support and believe women who use our service. This is explained in more detail in our Statement of Purpose and Aims. Our Charitable Objects also demonstrate the purpose of our organisation. We achieve this through the provision of services and through activism.
We provide a helpline, email & live chat service. We provide face to face counselling, also available via telephone and online. All our services are free and available to women who live in the Greater Manchester.
