Other support description: In addition to directly supporting women, the Coming Home Project works closely with a wide range of organisations to improve outcomes for those impacted by the criminal justice system. We support grassroots women’s charities, community groups, and CICs that work with women facing homelessness, domestic abuse, trauma, and addiction, offering partnership, training, and resources to enhance their impact. We collaborate with educational and training providers to deliver inclusive, trauma-informed workshops on digital presence, employability, and resilience, often rooted in lived experience. Our work with employers and social enterprises focuses on inclusive recruitment, offering guidance on employing people with convictions and connecting job-ready women to meaningful opportunities. We also work alongside statutory services, including probation, housing, and mental health teams, to provide holistic, wrap-around care that prevents women from falling through the gaps. Additionally, we actively partner with peer-led networks and lived experience organisations, amplifying their voices and co-producing solutions that drive systemic change.
