Organisation description: The Royal Horticultural Society’s (RHS) founding purpose was to improve the science, art and practice of horticulture. Since our formation in 1804, the RHS has grown from an idea into the UK’s leading gardening charity, touching the lives of millions of people. Through the garden at RHS Bridgewater, and our wider community outreach programme across the region we seek to work with people of all ages to promote gardening and nature-connectedness, and all the social, health and wellbeing benefits that this brings.
