Organisation description: The Menopause Charity is here to make sure everyone understands menopause and the impact it can have.
We want everyone who experiences menopause, no matter who they are or where they live, to get the treatment and support they choose. So we educate and inform, but most importantly, we listen. We listen to people experiencing menopause symptoms, and the health professionals who treat them. And we work together to create trusted, tailored information and support.
We don’t push an agenda. We focus on the facts. We inform people about lifestyle changes, as well as treatment options like HRT. So they can feel confident about discussing their choices with their doctor or health professional. And more comfortable talking about menopause at home, at work and anywhere else.
We also share our expertise with health professionals so they give advice and care that’s well-informed. And we consult with policymakers to influence and improve menopause care and support around the UK.
