Organisation description: Panacea Training and Support CIC is a specialist training provider established in 2025, founded by Samantha Lyall and Charlotte Malone. Our mission is to empower individuals through accessible, high-quality education and skills training that opens doors to meaningful employment and personal growth.

Panacea Training and Support is a Community Interest Company dedicated to bridging the gap between unemployment and meaningful employment through high-quality training, wellbeing support, and personalised guidance.
Our Core Values:

• Innovation: Blending traditional training with wellbeing therapies

1.2 Leadership Team
Samantha Lyall & Charlotte Malone - Co-founders
• Combined 30 years experience in Further Education, Higher Education, and adult skills provision
• Both educated to Masters level
• Extensive background in educational best practice and learner needs assessment
• Proven track record in curriculum development and learner support
1.3 Legal Structure
Community Interest Company (CIC) - ensuring profits are reinvested for community benefit whilst maintaining business efficiency and accountability.
2. MARKET ANALYSIS & NEED IDENTIFICATION
2.1 Greater Manchester Context
Greater Manchester faces significant challenges that Panacea Training is uniquely positioned to address:
Unemployment Statistics (2025):
• Greater Manchester unemployment: 68,700 people (4.1% vs UK average 4.5%)
• North West unemployment rate: 4.1%
• Economic inactivity: 452,000 people aged 16-64 in Greater Manchester
NEET Statistics:
• North West NEET population: Over 121,000 young people (2024)
• 16% increase from 2023
• Mental health and learning difficulties are primary barriers
Skills Gaps Identified:
• 45% of Greater Manchester businesses report workforce skills are only "partly" adequate
• Critical shortages in: English and Maths (32%), Digital Skills (12%), Customer Service (19%)
• Specific demand in Construction, Social Care, and Education & Training sectors

• Secondary: UK-wide through remote delivery platform
