Voluntary Friends for Older People (VFOP) - org closed

Who do you work with?: Older people, Men, Mental health problems (people with)
Organisation description: If you think you could spare at least one hour per week to help an isolated older person why not contact us? Finding people to befriend those who use our service is never easy, yet becoming a volunteer is simple. We have older people both men & women, waiting to meet a new friend and we can never find enough people to visit them. All we ask if that you are over 18, provide 2 character references and agree to a CRB Check. We welcome volunteers from all ages & backgrounds. We reimburse travel and out of pocket expenses, even child care costs, so being a volunteer wont cost you a penny.
Activity Days of Week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
Core Opening Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-3pm.
