Organisation description: Independent Choices was founded in 1978 as the Womens Domestic Violence Helpline. Our services developed in the mid 1990's into a multi-project organisation.

The focus of the work of the organisation includes the services of the Women's Domestic Abuse Helpline 0161 636 7525 including Community Language Helpline services recieving just under 8,000 calls each year and the Women's Safety Service delivered under contract to Greater Manchester Probation Trust (GMPT)
