Emmanuel Home from Home Social Club

Who do you work with?: All Client Groups
Organisation description: Our social club is run by volunteer. It was formed in November 2011. it is open every Tuesday and Friday between 11 am and 3.30 pm. we provide free coffee/tea and also lunches at cost. There is a bingo session followed by dancing on both days. Tuesday we have a health hip and heart session .Friday we hold an Art and Craft class.There is a pool table available

During the year we have outings and special events according to the interest of the members .At Christmas we have a special l dinner with entertainment and this year had a special world war 1 event with a four course meal,bingo entertainment and dancing .
The centre is wheelchair friendly .Although our members are mainly in the older age we also have several young folk who attend . We don't have an age limit
Other support description: We are always in need of kitchen volunteers .
