Salford Neighbourhood Assets Profiles & Statistics

Neighbourhood assets profiles

The Neighbourhood assets profiles provide an overview of the needs and priorities within each of the city's eight neighbourhood areas, together with an assessment of the availability of community assets that residents and service providers could potentially use to help address those priorities. The profiles are intended for use by members of the public, community groups, organisations and anyone who wants to know about resources that exist within their community.

Neighbourhood statistics

The council has compiled a set of neighbourhood profiles that identify the key demographic, social, environmental, and economic trends affecting the area, and the demand for and take-up of public services in relation to:

  • health
  • adult social care
  • children and young people
  • the economy
  • environment
  • crime and disorder and
  • housing

The profile provides a snapshot of the latest position. Future updates will add to this baseline and show how trends are changing over time. The area profiles are intended for use by councillors, service planners, area managers, and anyone who has an interest in public service provision in Salford.
