Description:

Bee Yourself Monday 5.30pm – 7pm
This is a peer support for parents and a relaxed, accessible space for children aged 4-11yrs with additional needs - no diagnosis required.
As a volunteer helper you will provide an important role in helping the group run smoothly.
You will assist the group leaders with:
• Setting up the refreshments, equipment and any activities
• Welcoming people to the group and helping to make refreshments
• While the group is in session help to support the children with activities
• Assist with clearing away

There are no specific skills or qualifications required for the role however the following would be an advantage:
• A knowledge or interest in children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disability)
• Sensitivity and caring towards parents and the children attending
• Good communication skills
