Volunteer Opportunities
Our Volunteer Performing Arts Youth Workers help us deliver a range of arts from theatre to spoken word. If you have experience in Latin dance, ballroom or maybe even puppetry; whatever your performing arts flair we’d love to have you on the volunteer team!
- Helping deliver any form of performing arts that you excel and enjoy
- Motivating young people to participate in individual and group dance/acting opportunities
- Building positive relationships with young people across the youth zone
- Working collaboratively with the Arts Coordinator and other members of staff to support the delivery of sessions (and if you’re confident enough, to lead!)
- Supporting young people with additional needs
- Acting as a positive role model for young people
- Promoting an inclusive culture where all young people are listened to, valued and cared for.

We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience in performing arts, those specifically with a dancing/acting background able to lead a group of young people
- Enjoys meeting and engaging with people from a wide range of backgrounds
- Is organised and efficient
- Shares the same values of SYZ
- Is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young people.
