Support mental wellbeing in your community – Join Connect 5 Training

Salford is offering a free Mental Health Connect 5 Training Course over the coming months, designed to empower frontline staff and volunteers with the tools to support mental wellbeing.

Whether you're a key worker, community volunteer, health and social care professional, or part of the emergency services, this training is ideal for anyone in a public-facing role who wants to make a meaningful impact.

What is Connect 5?

Connect 5 is a structured, evidence-based mental health training programme delivered in three progressive modules. Grounded in the Five Ways to Wellbeing, it helps participants:

•              Build confidence and skills to have effective mental wellbeing conversations

•              Strengthen personal resilience and support others more effectively

•              Deepen understanding of mental health and wellbeing

•              Foster healthier, more open workplaces and communities

•              Format: In-person sessions

•              Delivered by: Mind in Salford

•              Dates: Starting late January (details to follow)
