Organisation description: Beyond Empower works to make places accessible to enable disabled people to keep active.
Beyond Empower has three main strands of delivery:
Empower You Innovation - innovative solutions to support communities and organisations towards an inclusive offer for disabled people. This work has involved working with organisations such as the NHS, councils and housing trusts through our Empower You programme and Salford's Sport England Local Pilot work.
Empower Learning - learning experiences to support organisations, teams and staff towards an inclusive offer for disabled people. This work has involved working with sport, leisure, health, design and infrastructure organisations providing practical workshops and accredited training.
Empower Lifestyle - lifestyle coaching to support disabled people to achieve their lifestyle goals. This is self-funded by disabled people or their supporters.
Beyond Empower is currently incubated by Unlimited Potential with plans to transition to an independent enterprise in April 2021.
