Who do you work with?: Migrant communities, Women
Organisation description: African Women Matter is an organisation run by women for women, an organisation dedicated to helping women in crisis and emergencies. The organisation was set up after witnessing first-hand the ‘sexual violence’ and manipulation of women in vulnerable situations.

Our objectives includes:
To offer women the opportunity to develop their independence and protect their dignity. Every woman deserves the right to live a safe and a happy life.
 To support the effective integration of African Women immigrants residing in the United Kingdom
 To promote positive home environment sets the tone for individual wellbeing.
 To provide information and guidance to help refugee families adapt to their new society, ensure productive households, and recapture a sense of normalcy.
