Organisation description: Recycle-IT! is a Bolton-based social enterprise committed to reducing e-waste and promoting digital inclusion across Greater Manchester, with a strong focus on Salford. We collect unwanted computer equipment, refurbish it, and recycle it to divert 100% of the waste from landfills. The refurbished equipment is made available to local communities, organisations, and individuals at affordable prices to enhance digital access.
We proudly work with Salford-based partners such as In4Group at HOST MediaCity, collaborating on initiatives that bridge the digital divide and foster sustainability. We offer work placements and skills development to local volunteers, T-level students, and people on probation, empowering them with valuable experience. Through our partnerships with community groups, charities, and local authorities in Salford, we are advancing our mission to provide technology access and promote environmental responsibility
