Organisation description: Salford Foundation is an active, community-focused charity working across Greater Manchester to deliver practical support that helps people overcome disadvantage and build stable, positive futures.
Its current work focuses on three key areas: giving children and young people the best start in life, supporting adults into sustainable employment and training through its Working Futures programmes, and strengthening strong and safe communities.
The organisation delivers a wide range of services, including targeted youth work, mentoring, employability and skills programmes, offender rehabilitation, financial wellbeing and energy advice, domestic abuse support, and community-based wellbeing initiatives.
Salford Foundation works closely with local authorities, schools, employers, criminal justice services and voluntary sector partners, alongside volunteers, to provide early intervention and tailored support for people facing complex challenges. Its approach is practical, relationship-led and outcomes-driven, with a strong emphasis on partnership working, social inclusion and long-term impact for individuals and communities.
