BASIC's Volunteer drivers will help safely transport our clients and carers and/or family members from their homes to BASIC for therapy. Many of our clients have mobility difficulties and some will travel in wheelchairs.

Skills and qualifications that may be needed or developed:
BASIC's volunteers help change the world s of our clients. Our volunteer drivers help remove the barrier often faced in making suitable travel arrangements. BASIC will provide training for driving our automatic electric wheelchair accessible vehicle (ewav) and for using the equipment associated with supporting and securing wheelchairs in our vehicle.
