Opportunity hosted by: Salford Being There
Description:

If you like engaging in conversations about all sorts of things over a cuppa tea or coffee, then this volunteering role may be for you! As a Being There Befriender you will be required to visit a client at their home address or in the local community like a café and befriend them on a weekly or fortnightly basis (it is up to you!). This service is to help reduce social isolation, increase confidence and self esteem, and improve mental and emotional wellbeing. Everyone likes to see a friendly and familiar face, so if you would like our clients to see yours, then apply today!
