Help Save Salford Victoria Theatre – Join Our Board
The Salford Victoria theatre Trust (SVTT) are looking for people to join our board to support and develop our move to charitable status. We are specifically looking for people with skills in finance, and governance for charity organisations, and knowledge or experience of working on heritage projects or for nonprofit companies.
Salford Victoria Theatre is at risk, and we need dedicated leaders to join our Board of Directors and drive the campaign to save it! Join us to help shape the strategic direction of SVTT, working alongside a passionate team committed to preserving this historic landmark, of local and national significance, and play a key role in creating a cultural hub for the community.

We are seeking individuals with expertise in:
• Finance / Accounting
• Legal / Governance – Specifically Company Secretary
• Project Management
You will ideally be supporting our organisational and business planning, working with various stakeholders and Salford’s Heritage Commission, Theatres Trust, and National Heritage Lottery Fund.
Your commitment to SVTT will include:
• Attend monthly board meetings, in person and online
• Help lead the "Save the Salford Victoria” campaign
• Engage with the community and key stakeholders
• Support fundraising and sponsorship efforts
Do you have the skills, time and enthusiasm to be part of this exciting community project? You do not need to have experience as a Director or Trustee, training will be given, however, experience in your particular area of expertise is essential!
