Furniture Collection Driver (1–2 Days per Week)

Description:

Be at the heart of the charity, supporting formerly homeless people and helping furnish homes across Salford.

Main responsibilities include:
• Driving our 3.5 tonne vans to collect and deliver donated furniture.
• Helping to load and unload the van at homes and charity sites.
• Working alongside companions as part of a supportive, hands-on team.

We’re looking for someone who:
• Has a full UK driving licence.
• Can safely lift and move furniture and heavy items.
• Communicates clearly and has a positive, can-do attitude, can act as a mentor.
• Is reliable, organised and enjoys working with others.

Time commitment:
Ideally Tuesdays (9am–4pm), with flexibility for one or two days per week.
What We Offer:
• Optional training and support (in person and online with certificates).
• Free lunch and travel expenses reimbursed.
• All PPE provided.
• 20% discount in our charity shop for all volunteers.
