Description:

As a Café Volunteer, you will help create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive café environment for everyone who visits Langworthy Cornerstone. You will play an important role in supporting day-to-day café activities, offering friendly customer service, and helping make the café a positive social space for the local community.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, working as part of a team, and contributing to a community-focused setting.
What’s involved?
• Welcoming customers and helping create a friendly, inclusive atmosphere
• Serving food and drinks and supporting basic café operations
• Supporting with till use and handling payments (training provided)
• Helping keep the café clean, tidy, and well-presented
• Supporting set-up and close-down of the café when needed
• Following food hygiene, health and safety, and Langworthy Cornerstone policies and procedures
• Providing a positive, respectful experience for all customers

Time commitment
• This is a flexible role that can fit around your availability
• Shifts typically last around 2–4 hours
• We ask for a commitment to agreed shifts to ensure consistency and smooth café operations
