Description:

We are looking for women who hold intersectional feminist values and principles and who are passionate about the mission and values of SARA. Trustees attend board meetings (every 2 months) and sub-committee meetings (every 2 months, 1-2 weeks before board meetings), both meetings take place online on weekday evenings. Trustees also attend strategy days twice a year in-person in Trafford and events such as Volunteer Appreciation Events, End of Year Celebrations, and AGMs. Trustees are also asked to support SARA by completing board of trustee work in their own time where necessary.

Skills and qualifications that may be needed or developed:

We are particularly looking for Trustees who have relevant qualifications and/or experience in the following areas:
- Human resources and personnel management, including a knowledge of employment legislation. 
- Financial management, planning and budgeting. 
- Secretarial, supporting with minuting, scheduling board meetings and coordinating action plans.
