Walk the Plank’s pop-up festival, celebrating the heart and soul of Salford across its neighbourhoods throughout the city’s centenary year. Visitors can expect family-friendly entertainment, including music, poetry, play space, karaoke, talent competitions and much more, in a programme co-created with local residents. Events will take place whatever the weather. Toilets and refreshments available.

Age Friendly Salford and From The Other invite you to share your stories, memories and feelings of Salford. Meduulla and The Thirsty Poet are part of a cohort of six artists currently writing and recording a concept record about Salford in 2026. Your stories may become part of the Songs of Salford record.
