Systems Change Manager Rochdale (maternity cover)
The role
This role will lead on our strategic ambition ‘to advance our approach to enabling social change through partnerships and collaboration’.
You will lead the systems change team to develop the quality and impact of our networks to ensure they bring together diverse perspectives, are connected into strategic decision-making spaces, and take collective action.
You will lead our system change projects and programmes, working with a range of funders, partners, members, and stakeholders.
Working with the Rochdale Director, you will build relationships with public sector senior leaders and facilitate Voluntary, Community, Faith, and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) partnerships and collaboration to ensure the sector has a stronger collective voice within NHS and local authority governance.
You will also co-ordinate our work on thematic issues that arise for example, anti-poverty and the Cost-of-Living Crisis, Public Sector Reform and tackling health inequalities, etc supporting the Rochdale Director to influence senior leaders and advocate for change
The ideal candidate
The ideal candidate will be a skilled facilitator and project manager, with a proven track record of influencing system partners, who is passionate about Rochdale’s communities and committed to social justice and collaboration. We are looking for both a practical ‘doer’ and an influencer who can who can operate within partnerships and bring solutions.
Salary: £37,336-£40,220 per annum (actual pro rata salary £22,401- £24,132 per annum).
NJC Scale: PO2 (29-32)
Hours: 21.6 (3 days per week) Monday to Friday (occasional evening and weekend work may be required)
Length of contract: Maternity cover until 31 May 2025
Location: Rochdale Borough, with some homeworking
