The Third Sector Fund is Salford CVS' largest grants programme. It is split into around 6 distinct funds per year, such as the Impact, Health and Wellbeing and Healthy Schools Partnership Funds.

Established in 2014, with funding from NHS Greater Manchester (Salford) - previously NHS Salford Clinical Commissioning Group - the Third Sector Fund supports over 100 voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector-led projects each year. These projects directly address the health and wellbeing priorities identified by local communities.
