About the awards

The Heart of Salford awards are Salford CVS and Volunteer Centre’s prestigious ceremony to celebrate volunteering and voluntary action. See more about the awards and previous winners on our main Heart of Salford page. We had nearly 90 nominations for this year's awards, which were shortlisted by an independent panel of judges. Well done to everyone who was nominated who will all recieve a certificate:

Congratulations to the 2026 winners and shortlist!

We held the Heart of Salford awards event this year on 3rd June at Buile Hill Hall as part of this year's Volunteers' Week. The awards event was a fantastic showcase of the brilliant and diverse work happening across Salford and the amazing staff and volunteers.
