Have your say! Take the ‘Voice of the Practitioner’ 2026 survey

The Salford Safeguarding Adults Board (SSAB) is inviting practitioners to take part in its completely anonymous ‘Voice of the Practitioner’ Survey 2026.

The term “practitioner” is used broadly, and the SSAB would like to hear from anyone who directly works with or supports adults living in Salford who have care and support needs, whether in an employed or voluntary role. This includes (but is not limited to) support workers, charity and voluntary sector staff and volunteers, higher education staff, faith leaders, care provider employees, community group volunteers, advocates, care home staff, social workers, probation officers, advisors, prison workers, emergency services staff, health practitioners, doctors, nurses, and many others who support adults at risk in Salford.

Participants are invited to share their views on safeguarding adults at risk in Salford, provide examples of good practice they have observed, and offer suggestions for how adults can be better protected, drawing on their professional experience and knowledge.

All feedback submitted will be read, listened to and considered by the SSAB to support continuous improvement in safeguarding adults across Salford. The Board encourages practitioners to ensure their voice is heard.

The survey is online, mobile‑friendly, and should take no more than six minutes to complete. It is completely anonymous, and participants are encouraged to be open in sharing their honest views.

The survey closes on Friday 17 April 2026.

Practitioner experience and knowledge are highly valued, and the SSAB would welcome responses from those involved in safeguarding adults in Salford.
