Help your local football club and community thrive!
Behind every club is a team of volunteers; not only on the pitch, but also beyond the pitch - in the many vital roles that keep clubs running and communities connected.
Your skills, ideas and experiences can make a real difference to your local community.
You Don't Need Football Experience!
You don't need to coach, referee or play football to make a difference. Grassroots clubs need enthusiastic, reliable, friendly volunteers to support a wide range of activities. For example, you could:
- Support the club behind the scenes – Help with administration, registrations, fixtures, emails or committee roles.
- Bring people together – Assist with fundraising, events, social media, refreshments or simply welcoming players and families on matchdays.
- Create safe and inclusive environments – Welcome new and existing players, support welfare, safeguarding, facilities, equipment or pitch preparation.
Whatever your skills or experience, there's a role where you can make a meaningful contribution.
Why Volunteer?
Volunteering is an opportunity to:
- Inspire more women and girls to get involved in football.
- Help create welcoming and inclusive grassroots clubs.
- Build confidence, develop new skills and gain valuable experience.
- Meet new people and become part of a supportive local community.
- Help shape the future of grassroots football in your community.
