Good work plays an important role in health and wellbeing, providing purpose, routine, social connections and financial stability. When health challenges make work difficult, the right support can make all the difference.
WorkWell, delivered through Wellbeing Matters Social Prescribing, can support you if your health condition, disability or wellbeing challenges are affecting your ability to stay in work, return to work or find employment.
Led by Salford CVS, Wellbeing Matters uses a social prescribing approach, connecting you with community support, practical advice and local opportunities that improve wellbeing and help address barriers to everyday life and employment.
Through dedicated WorkWell Community Connectors, you can receive personalised support to improve wellbeing, build confidence, manage health conditions, explore employment options and access training and community opportunities.
WorkWell works closely with GP practices across Salford and can support you if you are employed, self-employed, unemployed or receiving fit notes due to physical or mental health conditions.
Working alongside complimentary support like Elevate Salford and Salford Employment Hub, WorkWell also helps you access skills development, training and employment opportunities.
Together, Wellbeing Matters and WorkWell are helping people improve wellbeing, overcome barriers and build confidence, creating stronger links between health, community support and employment across Salford.
