Salford City Council has a theme of prevention running through a number of strategies, from Housing to Health, meaning that we are exploring ways in which residents who are experiencing emerging issues can be identified and supported at the earliest possible point, avoiding a problem turning into a crisis.
As organisations in the Community and Voluntary Sector, you are recognised as key partners who may see these issues before someone has approached the council for help. As a result we want to work with you to highlight what options already exist and to give you the opportunity to help shape what our prevention response looks like in the future.
To do this, we have arranged an all day event which you are encouraged to attend, details are:
